Family
Treks to Nepal
We have a range
of family travel options with specially
devised itineraries to suit all budgets,
including trekking, jungle safaris,
sightseeing and gentle canoeing or rafting.
Most of our popular
treks can be done with young children
and provide an educational, fun and
safe environment for children of ages
six and over. All treks are graded ‘easy’
so that children can walk portions of
the trek or all of it as they want.
Younger children between three and six
years can also go on trek, with the
option to be carried in padded, adapted
cane baskets by Sherpa porters, to give
them the chance to have a rest, enjoy
the view and take the easy option for
trekking
Our family itineraries
include plenty of time to rest, relax
and have fun, as well as exciting and
interesting experiences, including visits
to temples and street markets, city
sightseeing, mountain flights, driving
through stunning landscapes, gentle
rafting and safaris.
As well
as specially adapted itineraries for
family trekking we can also provide
(on request) the following services:
modified itineraries with shorter daily
distances than regular treks, food prepared
with less spice, laundry services, nursing
service and massage specialists.
